JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Skilled Production - Interior to join our growing team. Hiring Now – Immediate need for new Manufacturing Team Members
American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of Jeld Wen, and one of the leading manufacturers and wholesale suppliers of Doors, Windows and Door Hardware is currently seeking Skilled Production Associate to join our talented team of door professionals.
JELD-WEN is one of the world’s largest door and window manufacturers, with more than 22,000 employees operating in 24 countries globally. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, JELD-WEN designs, produces and distributes an extensive range of interior and exterior doors, wood, vinyl and aluminum windows.
Successful candidate(s) may perform any of the following duties:
Operate various, more complex, door manufacturing equipment
Read and interpret order tags
Ensure the material is produced to precise specifications
Maintain quality standards
Staging and preparing material for next stage of production
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety rules
Other general plant/warehouse duties as needed
Special Requirements:
Commercial machine operator experience
Past experience in commercial woodworking (doors, millwork, cabinets, etc.)
Past experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment
General knowledge of building materials
Can perform simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools
Works well in a fast-paced, TEAM environment
Good communication skills both verbal and written
Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.

Expected pay for this role is between $21.03 to $23.98 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
